Female Artists Not to Miss at The Other Art Fair This International Women's Day
“A fair correcting the market’s gender imbalance.”
Saatchi Art’s The Other Art Fair, a global showcase of boundary-pushing independent artists and gathering of creative thinkers, game changers and pleasure seekers, returns to London’s Truman Brewery this March — coinciding with International Women’s Day.
For 2023, The Other Art Fair presents an impressive line-up with 61 percent female artists, “championing some of the most exciting talents working today and continuing its ongoing mission to strive for gender parity in the art world.”
The selected talent, which includes Anastasia Tribambuka, Natasha Muluswela, Amy Wiggin, Nathalie Kingdon, Anna Sudbina, Helga Stentzel, Katalin Macevics, Karen Turner, Catherine Vermaut, Dawn Beckles, will offer unique pieces that traverse various cultures, mediums and experiences.
For the fair’s London edition, expect an inspiring, evocative, inclusive and fun atmosphere that seeks to reframe art and create the unexpected. The schedule includes a vibrant program of exciting features, guest exhibitions, immersive installations, live poetry readings and DJs. Guests will also be able to buy artwork directly from over 150 incredible emerging talents.
Saatchi Art’s The Other Art Fair will be open to the public March 9-12. Tickets and further information are available from the exhibit’s website.
