What Would Your Zodiac Sign Wear to The Met Gala?

Others may be ranking the 2023 Met Gala looks in terms of who ate and who flopped, but we’re taking a starry-eyed approach and pondering what the zodiac signs might have worn for the Superbowl of fashion.
The theme for the first Monday of May was in honor of Karl Lagerfeld and while the French luxury designer had a penchant for a neutral color palette and an abundance of accessories, celebrities used their imagination to pay homage to the creative director of Chanel as some wore iconic looks from the house or even dressed up as the visionary’s cat.

There is no one who captured the spirit of the Met Gala more than Doja Cat and much like the fiery Aries, the singer is not shy to show she understands the assignment. The first sign of the zodiac is bold and unapologetically themselves and Doja Cat’s feline ensemble delivers the main character energy Aries are loved for.

Given how resourceful Tauruses can be, Nicole Kidman‘s repurposed Chanel gown is the automatic answer to the earth sign’s Met Gala dress code. The legendary Australian actor stood out even more as she went the sustainable route, turning heads in the iconic tulle dress from her more than memorable 2004 No.5 commercial.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky‘s coordinated Met Gala outfits evoke the twins’ balanced nature, offering both masculine and feminine energy. Rihanna opted for a larger than life floral Valentino gown and extravagant accessories on one hand, A$AP donned a simple yet statement-making kilt over jeans with multiple Gucci belts.
