TOGA and Suicoke Reunite for the Perfect Summer Sandal
After two years since their previous collaboration.
Japanese labels TOGA, conceived by Yasuko Furuta, and Suicoke, whose founders remain anonymous, have joined forces once again to push their mutual understanding of high-quality, unique approaches to design forward. Inspired by the Japanese love for fashion-sport sandals, the partnership brings two new styles that blend TOGA’s signature embellishments, intricate stitching and artistic patterns with Suicoke’s original comfortable EVA footbed.
The first style, “TONO,” arrives in beige, khaki and black hues, and sees color blocking, TOGA signature details and a Velcro strap for easy wear. Meanwhile, the second silhouette, “MOTO,” lands in white, khaki and black colorways and serves as a statement summer sandal with metal buckles and silver-tone graphic hardware.
Priced at $305 and $380 USD respectively, the TOGA × Suicoke “TONO” and “MOTO” launch May 19 through Suicoke North America’s website, Alumni of NY and Bodega. Take a look at the offering in the gallery above.
