Our Favorite Fashion Moments From the 2024 Paris Olympics

From Nike, SKIMS and Sami Miro to Beyonce, Thom Browne and Billie Eilish.

This year’s Olympics kicked off with an extravagant opening ceremony on July 26 in Paris, filled with surprises and celebrity performances. As always, there are more than a few nods to the world of fashion, with Beijing’s Winter 2022 iteration providing us with Prada snowboards, Vera Wang figure-skating fits and viral Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

As a result, the bar for the 2024 Paris Olympics is set pretty high, but already, it appears that the fashion world is ready. Ahead of the official ceremony, we saw SKIMS reveal its third Olympic-centric collab, Sami Miro designing gymnast jackets with Nike and Queen Bey taking to the stage to introduce Team USA.

Scroll down for some of our favorite fashion moments of the Olympics, including Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart going full equestrian, Sha’Carri Richardson‘s nails, SKIMS collaborations and that Beyonce opening moment.

Billie Eilish’s Ralph Lauren Fit at the Closing Ceremony

What was most interesting though, was her full Ralph Lauren look, a nod to the rising popularity of sportswear and collegiate-inspired fashion. According to Lyst, the Olympics were pretty big for Ralph Lauren, with searches for the brand up by 119% this last month.

Snoop Dogg And Martha Stewart In Full Equestrian Attire

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body We bet Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart in full equestrian attire wasn’t on your 2024 bingo card, yet here we are. Despite his fear of horses, the rapper sported a dressage tailcoat, a hard helmet and aviator sunglasses with remarkable style, perfectly complementing Martha, our perennial kitchen queen. The two longtime friends marked Martha’s 83rd birthday with impeccable fashion while enjoying the horse riding competition.

Stone Cold Kim Yeji’s Elephant Charm

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body The only way you wouldn’t have heard of Kim Yeji by now is if you’re living under a rock. The 31-year-old, South Korean Olympic pistol shooter went viral with her hardcore calmness, sporting an all-black outfit with cyborg frame glasses. While Yeji is undeniably the coolest Olympian so far, it’s the charming elephant keychain from her five-year-old daughter, casually hanging from her trouser waistband, that’s truly capturing hearts. Clearly, “cute” is not dead, yet.

Rayssa Leal Wearing Her Own Nike Collaboration

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body Skaters are undeniably cool, but female skateboarders take it up a notch. Take 16-year-old Brazilian skateboarder Rayssa Leal, for example. She showcased her own Nike shoe collaboration, the “Nike SB Dunk Low”, named after her, at the Olympics. It doesn’t get cooler than that.

Sha’Carri Richardson’s Nails

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body USA track and field star, Sha’Carri Richardson was widely celebrated for her skills on the track, but did you see her nails? Richardson flaunted her stunning acrylics during the opening ceremony on the Seine, as well as throughout the first Women’s Heat, the second Semi-Final and the Women’s 100m final.

Jordan Chiles Flashes Dazzling Diamond Grills

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body USA gymnast, Jordan Chiles didn’t just shine with her gold medal at the Olympics — she also flaunted her sparkling custom grills, which she had made in Houston. A snapped photo of her posing with both her gold medallion and her dazzling grills captured a standout Olympic beauty moment.

SKIMS Collaborates with Team USA

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body Kim Kardashian‘s cult-loved shapewear brand SKIMS unveiled another limited-edition collaboration with Team USA for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. The sports-inspired collection follows the brand’s collaborations for the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 games. Outfitted in red, white and blue, the special capsule came complete with gold medal-worthy loungewear, swimwear and undergarments.

Sami Miro Kits Out the Gymnastics Team With Nike

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body LA-based designer and former gymnast Sami Miro teamed up with Nike ahead of the Olympics to create a custom jacket for some of Team USA’s gymnasts, including Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezley Rivera.

Beyoncé Introduces Team USA in Custom thom browne

beyonce thom browne olympics usa swimsuit bodysuit woman long blonde hair body Queen Bey made a surprise contribution to the Olympic Opening Ceremony, stepping out in custom Thom Browne to introduce the 592 athletes that make up Team USA. Dressed in a silk taffeta varsity coat in hues of red, white and blue, the singer emerged as her COWBOY CARTER track “YAYA” played in the background. “Get a look at America, y’all. These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us. The people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation. All rooting together for them … We’ve got big dreamers who fought their whole lives to get here. Who gave up everything for one shot, and made it,” she said.
