Our Favorite Fashion Moments From the 2024 Paris Olympics
From Nike, SKIMS and Sami Miro to Beyonce, Thom Browne and Billie Eilish.
This year’s Olympics kicked off with an extravagant opening ceremony on July 26 in Paris, filled with surprises and celebrity performances. As always, there are more than a few nods to the world of fashion, with Beijing’s Winter 2022 iteration providing us with Prada snowboards, Vera Wang figure-skating fits and viral Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
As a result, the bar for the 2024 Paris Olympics is set pretty high, but already, it appears that the fashion world is ready. Ahead of the official ceremony, we saw SKIMS reveal its third Olympic-centric collab, Sami Miro designing gymnast jackets with Nike and Queen Bey taking to the stage to introduce Team USA.
Scroll down for some of our favorite fashion moments of the Olympics, including Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart going full equestrian, Sha’Carri Richardson‘s nails, SKIMS collaborations and that Beyonce opening moment.

Stone Cold Kim Yeji’s Elephant Charm
The only way you wouldn’t have heard of Kim Yeji by now is if you’re living under a rock. The 31-year-old, South Korean Olympic pistol shooter went viral with her hardcore calmness, sporting an all-black outfit with cyborg frame glasses. Clearly, “cute” is not dead, yet.
Rayssa Leal Wearing Her Own Nike Collaboration
Skaters are undeniably cool, but female skateboarders take it up a notch. Take 16-year-old Brazilian skateboarder Rayssa Leal, for example. She showcased her own Nike shoe collaboration, the “Nike SB Dunk Low”, named after her, at the Olympics. It doesn’t get cooler than that.
Sha’Carri Richardson’s Nails
USA track and field star, Sha’Carri Richardson was widely celebrated for her skills on the track, but did you see her nails? Queen Bey made a surprise contribution to the Olympic Opening Ceremony, stepping out in custom Thom Browne to introduce the 592 athletes that make up Team USA. Dressed in a silk taffeta varsity coat in hues of red, white and blue, the singer emerged as her COWBOY CARTER track “YAYA” played in the background. “Get a look at America, y’all. These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us. The people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation. All rooting together for them … We’ve got big dreamers who fought their whole lives to get here. Who gave up everything for one shot, and made it,” she said.
