Inside Isamaya Ffrench's Design World

The creative is bringing her platform, Studio Iron, to the London Design Festival.

Isamaya Ffrench is taking her eye for the unexpected beyond beauty. For London Design Festival 2026, the British creative is bringing her interdisciplinary platform Studio Iron to Brompton Design District, where a new collectible design exhibition will bring together 27 artists, designers and master artisans working across art, fashion, design and contemporary culture.

The exhibition responds to this year’s “Perfectly Imperfect” theme with a focus on material experimentation, sculptural forms and objects that sit somewhere between art and function. Rather than sticking to traditional creative categories, Ffrench’s curation brings together emerging and established voices to explore what happens when different materials, disciplines and perspectives collide.

The lineup includes names such as Andu Masebo, CompletedWorks, CJ Aslan, Buchanan Studio, Kelly Wearstler x ARCA and Wretched Flowers, alongside a wider roster of contemporary artists and craftspeople. Following Studio Iron’s debut at Saatchi Yates, the presentation marks its latest step as a platform for a new generation of collectible design.

Studio Iron joins more than 150 designers and makers taking part in Brompton Design District’s 2026 programme, which will span exhibitions, installations, events and product launches across the area. Head to the website for more information.
