Acne Studios’ Chunky Manhattan Sneaker Now Comes Pre-Distressed

Acne Studios‘ ultra-chunky dad shoe, the Manhattan, has been a statement silhouette since it released. In fact, it was even one of the most popular sneaker styles we spotted during the Scandinavian fashion weeks. Although they recently dropped in vibrant colours like bubblegum pink, the white version has been a runaway hit. For those who favour that minimal, Scandi look but with a rough-around-the-edges appeal, this distressed Manhattan may be for you.
The eye-catching sneaker features a neutral, mixed-material upper with tonal details throughout, including on the laces and side panels. The already dirty appearance gives an edgy look to the otherwise chic sneakers, and will most likely infuriate your mom. Completing the look is that textured, bulky midsole and a bumpy grey panel on the tongue.
