COS Presents a Sustainable, Utilitarian Collection For SS20

The brand poses that all cotton in the collection is 100% more sustainably sourced.

COS, the London-based pioneer of Scandinavian design aesthetic, has unveiled the lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Perhaps influenced by fashion’s newfound interest in sustainability, the collection features garments made with eco-friendly practices such as vegetable dye and responsibly sourced organic, recycled and repurposed cotton.

Merging the brand’s signature architectural influence with utilitarian practicality, functional pieces such as trench coats, cotton poplin shirts and and draped double-layer jersey tops feature heavily in next season’s offerings. An earthy color palate consisting of natural ecru, light grey and indigo blue also reflects its utilitarian inspiration. Geometric accessories — most notably recycled sterling silver earrings and a variety of hair accessories including barrettes and headbands — round out the collection.

Head to the COS website for updates on when its SS20 collection will be released.
