SAINTWOODS SW008 Gets Nostalgic With Homage to Canada

The collection is inspired by founding duo’s experiences growing up in Montreal and Toronto.

Founded by Nathan Gannage and Zach Macklovitch, streetwear brand SAINTWOODS will drop its next collection, SW008, globally online on October 28 and with a pop-up in Montreal on October 25. The brand’s eighth collection, SW008 is largely inspired by Gannage and Macklovitch’s inside jokes and observations, as well as the duo’s personal experiences growing up in Toronto and Montreal, Canada.

Comfort and wearability are at the core of each garment in the new collection. Key pieces include a pair of exaggeratedly oversized sweatsuits, a fully reversible T-shirt and plush embroidered robe. A recurring motif throughout the collection, the “I Survived Saint Laurent” graphic, references Montreal’s St Laurent Blvd, a cultural hub in Canada.

SW008 drops on SAINTWOODS’s website on Monday, October 28.
