A Look Inside Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton New York City Residency, Launching This Week
The pop-up features an exclusive collection of handbags, jewelry and accessories.
Following up on its Chicago takeover which consisted of a designer pop-up and the launch of an all-orange capsule, Louis Vuitton announces a temporary residency in New York City. The space spearheaded by Virgil Abloh was created in celebration of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
The space located at 100 Rivington Street in New York City’s Lower East Side neighborhood features a neon green interior and exterior in addition to green furniture and figures. The reimagined shop features new prints inspired by New York City, monogram legacy accessories, patches which pull directly from the fashion house’s archives and flag prints representing the diverse nationalities of studio designers. Additionally, at the pop-up you’ll find an updated version of the Louis Vuitton Skate trainer, logo-heavy jewelry and rainbow and prism leather goods available for purchase.
The Louis Vuitton Men’s New York City residency will officially open on July 12 and will run through July 21. Take a look below at a few of the pieces you can purchase if you get a chance to visit.
