Stadium Goods x Sotheby's Announces the Ultimate Sneaker Auction

Offering 100 of the rarest sneakers ever made.

International auction house Sotheby’s has announced the ultimate sneaker collection auction with the world’s premier sneaker and streetwear marketplace, Stadium Goods. The auction will feature 100 of the rarest sneakers in history from Stadium Goods’ famed Trophy Case.

The dedicated online-only auction highlights the original sample model of the 1972 Nike Waffle Trainer “Moon Shoe” with its value estimated at $110,000 USD to $160,000 USD. In addition to the top collectable pieces, the coveted Back to the Future II-inspired Nike Mags is available in both the 2011 and 2016 releases as well as the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Friends & Family” collection comprising of four rare friends and family exclusives. Limited edition collaborations by adidas, Nike, Yeezy and Jordan Brand will also be featured in the lineup.

Now open for bidding today until July 23 on the auction house’s website, a public exhibition will also be held in its New York galleries showcasing rare collectibles, streetwear, and different fashion pieces.
