Uniqlo UT Taps Artist Yoon Hyup for a Capsule Inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse
Featuring staples like tees, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Following a manga-themed collaboration with Shonen Jump for its 60th anniversary, Uniqlo UT is now teaming up with New York-based artist Yoon Hyup for a capsule collection. Inspired by Disney‘s Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters, the range features daily staples like tees and sweatshirts.
Offered in monochrome colors like black, grey and white, each piece is emblazoned with Yoon Hyup’s signature line and dot graphics. In addition to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto can also be found on select items. The collection is highlighted with a black crewneck sweatshirt with the characters drawn in white for contrast.
Available in men’s, women’s and kids’ sizing, the Yoon Hyup x Uniqlo UT collection is slated to launch on August 26 at Uniqlo stores in the U.S. and Europe, September 2 in China and September 9 in Japan.
