Angel Chen's Woolmark Prize Collection is Launching at Selfridges
A bright color palette created with environmentally friendly dye.
Angel Chen, the first-ever Chinese designer to collaborate with H&M, took a further step into her career in fashion by becoming one of the finalists for the Woolmark Prize earlier this year, along with Edward Crutchley, Colovos and Albus Lumen. With the Fall/Winter 2019 season arriving, the collections are launching in select retailers.
Taking inspiration from the Qiang people, an ancient Chinese tribe in the Sichuan region, the wool-exclusive range focuses on a bright color palette including yellow, orange, purple and blue, created using an environmentally friendly dye dubbed Anofix. Highlighting the collection is a six-color jacquard jacket and pastel pink coat and dress set.
