Bumble's New Campaign Celebrates Black Love

Popular dating app Bumble has unveiled a joyful campaign celebrating Black couples and their love. Titled #MyLoveIsBlackLove, the UK-specific initiative addresses a striking lack of Black representation in images of love in mainstream online spaces.
Bumble conducted research across 1,000 Black respondents in the UK and found that 79 percent think there is a lack of relatable images and stories about dating. 52 percent shared that the lack of Black representation negatively impacts their mental wellbeing. To help address these findings, #MyLoveIsBlackLove shines a spotlight on Black couples and creators sharing their love stories and, equally importantly, their joy. Those featured in the campaign include models Jourdan Dunn and Leomie Anderson, sex and relationship expert Oloni, journalist Yomi Adegoke and spoken word artist George The Poet.
