Following up on its collection of reworked Nike sweaters, bentgablenits is now returning with more repurposed garments for the winter season. Inspired by fairytales, deadstock items from The Elder Statesman are transformed into dreamy designs.
Spotlighting the high quality of the cashmere sweaters, the upcycled pieces see embroidered details focused on some of the most classic childhood stories. An Alice in Wonderland-inspired top features the Cheshire Cat and playing card suits, while a Little Red Riding Hood iteration sports the two main characters in the woods. Popular fairytale lines such as “Happily Ever After” and “Once Upon a Time” are stitched onto the hem of each sweater. Adding to the collection is a series of ribbed socks with crocheted flowers following the same theme.
