The Rokh x ASICS Collaboration Highlights Hand-Woven Rope Details
Featuring two unisex silhouettes: the GEL-1090 and GEL-Kinsei.
Having already unveiled another collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov earlier this month, ASICS now returns with yet another partnership – this time around, the sportswear label has teamed up with London-based designer Rokh on a limited capsule collection. Seen on the runway of the designer’s presentation back in January for Paris Fashion Week Men’s, we now take a closer look at the various colorways.
Pairing ASICS’ technology and innovation with Rokh’s impeccable craftsmanship, the collaboration incorporates hand-woven details into two unisex silhouettes: the GEL-1090 and the GEL-Kinsei. The 1090 introduces four different colorways, while the Kinsei launches with two palettes. Inspired by the apparatus used for rock climbing, the sneakers highlight various hues of round ropes and cords that are tied with an array of knots throughout the trainers.
The Rokh x ASICS collection is available now, exclusively at Dover Street Market. The sneakers range from £185 to £250 GBP (approximately $242 to $327 USD).
