Daily Paper Continues Its Collective Movement Into a New World With SS20 Campaign

Elevating the concept of Afrofuturism.

For Spring/Summer 2020, Daily Paper has evolved the theme of Afrofuturism that was first introduced in Fall/Winter 2019. According to a press release, the campaign imagines how a future society severed from Earth uses cultural heritage and nostalgia to build the foundations of a new world.

The Amsterdam-based clothing brand’s collection explores the “evolution of the collective consciousness of this civilization” and has been incorporated with a vibrant color palette, as well as bold animal prints. Following the concept of “Nostalgia Meets a New World,” the campaign’s visuals depict the models’ identities as members of a completely novel social group.

Take a detailed look at the campaign shot by Gabrielle Kannemeyer. You can now shop the SS20 collection at Daily Paper’s website where prices start at €59.95 EUR (approximately $67 USD).
