TTSWTRS Unveils SS20 Collection Full of Second Skin Separates
Tattoos without the commitment.
Emerging Ukraine-based brand TTSWTRS (short for Tattoosweaters) continues its experimentation with ink-like graphics for the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Founded in 2013 by former costume designer and stylist Anna Osmekhina, TTSWTRS specializes in nude-tone separates adorned with intricate illustrations, creating the illusion of a body covered in tattoos.
Standout SS20 pieces include a mesh bodysuit whose bottom half is printed with trompe l’oeil denim shorts. The top half features the brand’s signature tattoo graphics, as well as a life-like print of a hand covering the chest area. Casual essentials such as bike shorts and sports bras feature barcodes and numbers reminiscent of shipping labels while playful underwear is decorated with an illustration of a key. Structural separates such as oversized outerwear and tailored mini-dresses play with proportion in beige raw-edge fabrics and croc-embossed leather, a first for the brand.
