The Newspaper Print Returns for Kim Jones' Dior Men's Summer 2020 Collection
The iconic pattern is reimagined in collaboration with Daniel Arsham.
One of Dior‘s most iconic moments in the history of fashion is undoubtedly the Newspaper print, first debuted by John Galliano on the Spring/Summer 2000 Hobo Chic Haute Couture runway. Twenty years later, Kim Jones has reimagined the pattern in his Summer 2020 collection for Dior Men’s.
Created in collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, the reworked print is made of press releases written by none other than Christian Dior, as well as the inscription “Collection Été 3020,” which are found on highly coveted items including the Saddle Bag and B23 sneakers, as well as a nylon organza jacket and socks. These pieces are accompanied by beige and cream-colored garments in images shared by Dior.
