Paperboy Paris Revamps the New Balance 801 in Food-Inspired Colorways

Choose from “Ginger Lemonade” or “Tuna Tataki Sandwich.”

Restaurant-meets-streetwear-brand Paperboy Paris has teamed up with New Balance for three new colorways of the 801 sneaker, as well as a collection of playful apparel. Developed under Foot Locker‘s incubator Greenhouse, the new 801s are inspired by three of Paperboy’s signature menu items: the Tuna Tataki Sandwich, Ginger Lemonade and Coffee Latte.

All three food-inspired sneakers retain the 801’s signature all-terrain midsole. “Tuna Tataki Sandwich” combines leather overlays in royal purple, magenta and salmon with lime green mesh paneling . “Ginger Lemonade” pairs canary yellow with mustard and lastly, “Coffee Latte” stays true to its name with hits of cool mocha and warm copper.

Apparel options include matching hoodies and sweatpants embroidered with a handwritten New Balance logo, a zip-up jacket printed with Paperboy’s emblem and a bucket hat combining the two brand’s graphics.

The Paperboy Paris x New Balance collection will be unveiled at a pop-up during New York Fashion Week and later launch exclusively on the Greenhouse app. Finally, the collection will hit select Foot Locker stores — shoes are set to retail at $110 USD.
