Virgil Abloh Teases a Cream Version of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5
The designer posts a video of himself assembling the new iteration.
After making its debut on the runway at Off-White™‘s Fall/Winter 2020 Paris Fashion Week show, the highly-anticipated Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 officially released last month in “Black Metallic.” However, Virgil Abloh took to Instagram last weekend to tease a cream version of the silhouette.
During All-Star Weekend, the designer revealed the never-before-seen iteration via a video of himself assembling the sneaker together, as well as cutting out the right pair’s circular transparent lining on the lateral. The shoe dominantly features an off-white colorway with hints of beige hues found on the lacing system and sole, along with grey and red tones on the Jumpman branding and lining. With the vague caption of “plot twist,” it is still uncertain whether these are a custom pair just for Abloh, or if these are part of another upcoming drop.
