Richardson to Release Supreme Collaboration Commemorating New Tokyo Store
Featuring a stark image by Mario Sorrenti.
In celebration of Richardson‘s third flagship store opening in Harajuku, Tokyo, the New York and Los Angeles-based streetwear brand will release a commemorative T-shirt made in collaboration with Supreme.
Richardson founder Andrew Richardson has been a longtime creative colleague of Supreme’s James Jebbia. The two released their first collaborative T-shirt back in 2003 and have since worked together on styling and producing a calendar shot by Larry Clark as well as a book of skate photography by David Sims.
The latest Richardson x Supreme shirt, dubbed “Unconditional,” is printed with a Mario Sorrenti-lensed image from the second issue of Richardson’s sister magazine, founded in 1998. Chloë Sevigny models the new project in an accompanying campaign image shot by William Strobeck.
The Richardson x Supreme “Unconditional” T-shirt releases exclusively at Richardson’s new Harajuku store on March 28 at 11 a.m. JST.
