Explore the Popular 'Christian Dior, Designer of Dreams' Exhibition From Home
Virtually discover over 70 years of house archives.
Hit exhibition Christian Dior, Designer of Dreams debuted at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris back in July 2017 and eventually made its way to London‘s Victoria & Albert Museum, where it was met with unexpected demand. As the coronavirus pandemic leaves quarantined art and fashion lovers searching for inspiration, Dior has made the exhibition available to view virtually through the brand’s YouTube channel.
A nearly hour-long video guides viewers through key materials from the exhibit, spanning over 70 years of history, including archival footage, sketches by Christian Dior himself and interviews with reigning Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri. “As you set out on this unique exploration, let yourself be captivated by the visionary virtuosity of Monsieur Dior and the Creative Directors who have succeeded him –- from Yves Saint Laurent to Maria Grazia Chiuri –- and perpetuated his passion and sense of daring,” the Dior team wrote in a statement.
