UPDATE (May 14, 2020): FENTY‘s “Release 5-20” eyewear collection has officially dropped. Available in “Jet Black” and “Milky Way,” the first design dubbed Coded features a modern take on a vintage shape with rectangular frames and subtle cat-eye lenses. The second style, Off Record, boasts an animal print on the temples and arrives in “Candy Pink,” “Acid Green,” “Cosmic Blue” or “Black” acetate frames. As for Classified, this silhouette sports the same shape as the first two pairs but comes with metal clasps on the cut-outs, as well as metal plates on the temples.

You can now shop Coded and Off Record via FENTY’s website, while Classified will be available to purchase on May 27.

ORIGINAL STORY (May 12, 2020): Following the release of Rihanna‘s Savage X Fenty Summer 2020 collection, the fashion and beauty mogul’s luxury fashion brand FENTY is set to drop a new range of eyewear styles just in time for summer. FENTY took to Instagram to unveil the “Release 5-20” sunglasses line, which will include three new styles such as the Off Record, the Classified and the Coded sunglasses. As seen in the HYPEBAE-exclusive image above, the Off Record variation that Rihanna teased last week features a vintage-inspired silhouette with a modern twist. Additionally, the accessory will be available in vibrant hues, boasting a bold animal print on the temples.

FENTY’s “Release 5-20” eyewear collection will be available online on May 13. In related news, check out the label’s latest Faux Leather Capsule here.
