adidas and HYKE Continue Collaboration With SS20 Collection
Including an update on the UltraBOOST.
Japanese label HYKE has reunited with adidas, picking up their ongoing collaboration for Spring/Summer 2020. The “adidas by HYKE” collection applies HYKE’s military influences to a range of adidas’ performance wear spanning apparel and sneakers.
The new range includes two footwear options, the first being an update on the adidas UltraBOOST. HYKE puts its own twist on the sneaker with a sock-like knit upper adorned with black crisscross straps. Alongside the UltraBOOST, HYKE and adidas will also relaunch their collaborative take on the AOH 001, a model inspired by a Stan Smith prototype called the Haillet.
In terms of apparel, adidas logo tank tops and crewnecks provide everyday options while a series of full-length pleated dresses with seatbelt-like straps offer statement pieces.
The adidas by HYKE collection releases May 27 on the adidas Japan website followed by a global launch on June 13.
