Angel Chen Combines Traditional & Modern Styles For FW20
Centered around a “post-crisis” theme.
Having recently landed a collaboration with adidas Originals, emerging designer Angel Chen has unveiled the full lookbook of her Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The range first made its debut through a virtual runway via Shanghai Digital Fashion Week.
Focusing on a “post-crisis” theme to address the current global situation, Chen presented her collection with sci-fi backgrounds, combining traditional styles with modern aesthetics. Created remotely, the virtual runway show features exclusive digital face filters on the models.
Throughout the color-coordinated range, models are dressed in bold red coats and dresses, followed by shades of metallic silver, light green, black, blue and more. Standout looks include a boxy suit set styled with layered jewelry pieces, as well as a jacket and shirt sporting number patches throughout. The collection is rounded off with faux fur items including a maxi-length coat, bra top and skirt.
