Virgil Abloh and Jacob & Co.'s New "Office Supplies" Jewelry Drop Includes Rose Gold Pieces

The paperclip bracelet is reminiscent of grade-school DIY art.

Following up to the initial launch of their collaborative “Office Supplies” jewelry collection, Virgil Abloh and Jacob & Co. now return with a second wave of luxe arrivals. Inspired once again by the simple paperclip object, the duo elevates the notion of banality with a new made-to-order range produced in either 18k white, yellow or rose gold.

On what the collection means to him, Abloh took to Instagram to explain:

“[The collection] is a concept for fine jewelry I developed and have been sitting on for a while now…It’s all cryptic & metaphoric but that’s as much of the concept as the adolescent idea of making a paperclip bracelet in grade school meets the blinding aspirational quality of a Rocafella chain. It’s my whole art practice in one object.”

Adding to the designer’s thoughts, Jacob & Co. chimes in, “Creating connection between one another is one of the most powerful things in the world. Just like the paper clip earrings, one link connected to another, creating a circle of power that brings you endless strength, confidence and energy.”

If you’re interested in requesting an order for the “Office Supplies” collection, you can send an email to officesupplies@canary—yellow.com. Personally reviewing each order, Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Arabo and Abloh will conduct final approvals on all submissions.
