Netflix to Release Collection of Films Made in Quarantine by Kristen Stewart, Ana Lily Amirpour and More
The anthology, titled “HOMEMADE,” debuts later this month.
Netflix has announced a collection of short films, made using only equipment found at home, by 18 creatives from around the world. Dubbed “HOMEMADE,” the anthology includes works by actor Kristen Stewart, Ana Lily Amirpour (known for directing A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) and Black Panther Director of Photography Rachel Morrison.
The films range from diaries of daily life in coronavirus-induced isolation to fictional tales across multiple genres. Adding a charitable element to the release, Netflix will make a donation in honor of each participating filmmaker to third parties and non-profits providing emergency relief funds to television and film industry crew and cast currently out of work.
Netflix’s “HOMEMADE” short film anthology releases on the streaming platform June 30. See below for a full list of participating filmmakers.
