Roop Makes Bags From Vintage Fabrics

Get to know the young label that just got picked up by Selfridges.

In a time where the importance of sustainability is echoed on the daily, we are in need of more young creatives, tacking the issue head on. That’s where Natasha Fernandes Anjo and her label Roop come in. Crafted from left over fabrics or vintage fabrics, the designer crafts must-have pieces like bags as well as scrunchies, that are selling out faster than you can blink.

In addition to the usage of eco-friendly materials, Natasha crafts everything by herself in the UK. Because of the nature of the fabrics, each piece ends up being unique, adding a personal touch to her bags and scrunchies that can be seen all over Instagram. The label has also just been picked up by luxury giant Selfridges, and there’s no doubt that Roop is about to become a well-known name within the next years.

The bags currently retail at £65 GBP ($81 USD) and the scrunchies at £15 GBP ($18.75 USD) at Selfridges. Make sure to check out the Roop Instagram page, as well.
