Nintendo‘s Animal Crossing: New Horizons, one of the most popular games of 2020, has served as a platform for all to express their style and creativity. Celebrating the virtual fashion world that has emerged thanks to the video game, Hypebae hosted its first-ever Animal Crossing fashion show this summer.
Our guest lineup featured creatives from both the online and offline world, starting off with Instagram account Nook Street Market‘s Mixu wearing Jean Paul Gaultier, followed by Bodega‘s designer Rasheed, who sported the brand’s pieces. Emerging label PRIX‘s founder Esther Ng walked down the runway in her logo hoodie, while Crossing The Runway in Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 2019 and Prada Spring/Summer 2014. Finally, Tina Leung wore Nook Street Market’s Marjan Pejoski swan dress and a GCDS latex dress.
