Sony's PlayStation 5 Receives an Official Landing Page on Amazon
Featuring new images of the console and its accessories.
Back in May, Sony confirmed that the upcoming PlayStation 5 would release on time despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, the tech giant has yet to reveal the console’s price, and most importantly, the official pre-order date.
As gamers continue to patiently wait for more details, Amazon has recently launched a landing page for the PS5. The website features new images of the product and its accessories, including the DualSense Controller’s charging station and the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset.
The page indicates that those who will be able to get their hands on the console will “experience lightning-fast loading with an ultra-high-speed SSD, deeper immersion with support for haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D audio, and an all-new generation of incredible PlayStation games.” According to Givemesport, among those games are The Last of Us Part II, Resident Evil Village and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Other retailers like Best Buy have also released a placeholder page for the PS5, and have included a sign-up option in order for customers to be notified when the system goes live. For more information on the console’s features, head on over to Amazon’s landing page.
