Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 "Sail" Is the Most Hyped Women's Sneaker in Resale History
With an average resale price of $1,200 USD, according to StockX.
Last weekend, the highly anticipated women’s exclusive Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” finally dropped. Specifically marketed to Nike‘s female customers, women were given early access via the SNKRS app.
Prior to its release, StockX predicted that it would be the most popular sneaker for women to date and its average resale price would be $1,430 USD. After the first two days, the silhouette boasted an average resale price of $1,200 USD with over 1,300 StockX sales. Additionally, the average price premium was 500 percent.
According to the platform’s findings, this significant increase marks a “larger trend of the emerging growing market for women’s exclusive releases and the emerging trends that StockX is seeing.” StockX has also found that sales of women’s sneakers have “outpaced the overall sneaker market by 70 percent.” However, over the past weekend, statistics have shown that larger sizes of the collaborative pair are selling more than smaller sizes. For example, the lowest bid for the 14.5W size is currently priced at $2,000 USD. This likely reflects the strong demand among male buyers for this silhouette.
The Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” is now the highest price premium in StockX’s 15-year history of supplying women’s exclusive releases. If you weren’t able to get your hands on it, head on over to StockX’s website to purchase your own pair.
