Vans' Signature Checkerboard Pattern Gets a 3D Makeover in "Chenille" Pack
Featuring the classic Era and Old Skool.
Following the release of its “Distress Denim” pack in collaboration with Supreme last month, Vans has unveiled new iterations of its classic Era and Old Skool silhouette in the new “Chenille” capsule. Inspired by its previous “Inside Out” range, the latest sneaker designs boast unique techniques and exposed materials.
The monochromatic Era features an off-white sole and full canvas upper. The pair sports a modern take on the brand’s signature checkerboard pattern that comes in flocked chenille material placed across the front and side panels for a 3D effect. Topping off the Era is a light pink, hand-stitched checkerboard pattern found on the heel. As for the Old Skool, the style arrives in a deconstructed look and boasts the same chenille checkerboard pattern on the side panel. Delivering a unique look, it also features an exposed foam Sidestripe and heel collar.
