Illustrator Elisa Macellari to Release Graphic Novel of Yayoi Kusama's Artistic Journey
Featuring 400 drawings of the Japanese icon.
Italian-Thai illustrator Elisa Macellari has unveiled her latest project set to release next month. Titled KUSAMA: A Graphic Biography, the graphic novel will showcase the life of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The book consists of 128 pages and features 400 illustrations detailing her journey from Japan to New York in the ’60s and how she became the success she is today. It will also include some of her most iconic works, including her signature polka-dot prints and nature-inspired paintings.
