adidas Originals by Paolina Russo FW20 Collection Features a High Fashion Take on Sportswear
Garments in the range boast the Canadian designer’s signature 3D illusion knitting technique.
adidas Originals is set to drop a new Fall/Winter 2020 collection in collaboration with Canadian womenswear designer Paolina Russo. Following her reworked adidas shoes during London Fashion Week earlier this year, Russo has reimagined the sportswear brand’s essentials by giving a selection of garments a high fashion twist.
Taking inspiration from her background in competitive sports, the emerging designer’s styles arrive in different silhouettes and eye-catching prints. Further exploring her passion for contouring and corsetry, the first part of the range includes flattering tracksuits, bike shorts and dresses that arrive in patterns that interact naturally with the shape of the body. Boasting her signature 3D illusion knitting technique, part two of the collection includes corset tops, leggings, dresses, mini skirts, jackets and socks, as well as color-blocked track pants, tees and gloves.
