AREA Debuts First-Ever Haute Couture Collection With Swarovski
Embellished with crystals throughout.
New York-based label AREA has unveiled its first-ever haute couture collection crafted in partnership with Swarovski. Showcased through 14 looks, Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszcyzk’s latest creations are embellished with over half a million crystals.
“We wanted to push the boundaries of what’s possible with creating with crystal even further. We collaborated closely with Swarovski and they provided us with the most beautiful stones to realize our couture dream,” the creative duo shares in a press release. The lineup kicks off with a pantsuit with reflective fringes hanging from the sleeves and trouser hems, while the same theme is used on a coat. Further adding to the collection, crystals are attached to rounded pieces that are weaved together to create dresses and skirts. Standouts from the range include a corset gown and accordion dresses that are styled with encrusted clogs and mules.
