Here's an On-Foot Look at the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Black/Gum"
Slated to drop sometime this spring.
Last week, images of sacai x Nike‘s new VaporWaffle in “Black/Gum” surfaced on the Internet. Now, Instagram sneaker account @yankeekicks has unveiled an on-foot look of the upcoming silhouette.
Reimagined with a nylon base, the double-stacked footwear style features a combination of elements from the Nike Vaporfly and the 1983 Pegasus. For a sleek, monochromatic look, Chitose Abe has dressed the Swooshes, suede and leather overlays, tongues and intertwined lacing system in the same black shade. Rounding out the design are the brands’ logos found on the heel tabs, as well as the gum rubber waffle outsole. Take a closer look at the pair above.
The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Black/Gum” is set to drop sometime this spring for $180 USD.
