Lounge Around at Home in Style With Daniëlle Cathari's Upcycled Slippers
Made from leftover garments of the designer’s SS20 collection.
Back in October 2020, Daniëlle Cathari unveiled new DC Home Slippers crafted from the leftover garments of her Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Now, the designer has finally released her WFH-friendly footwear styles.
In an effort to save the environment, Cathari decided to produce the product locally in Amsterdam in small quantities. Inspired by summer holidays and overnight stays at boutique hotels, Cathari’s soft slippers arrive in three seasonal colorways such as “Mid-Century Brown,” “Grey Melange” and “Plum.” The handmade upper comes with Cathari’s signature embroidered on the side, while the soles are made by well-known Italian shoe sole manufacturer Vibram.
Take a closer look at the styles above and watch the production process of the silhoutte below. Daniëlle Cathari’s Home Slippers retail for €70 EUR (approximately $83 USD) each, which are now available online.
