ORIGINAL STORY (April 14, 2021): Netflix has released a series of first look images giving fans a preview of Never Have I Ever season two, which officially resumed production last November. The streaming platform has also announced an unexpected guest star to join the coming-of-age series: Common.
The rapper will play Dr. Chris Jackson, a ‘”suave and debonair” dermatologist who works in the same building as Nalini, Devi’s mother. “His high-end practice and celebrity clients are impressive to everyone — except Nalini,” a press release from Netflix reads. (We predict a budding love-hate romance between the two.) Of course, the second season will also follow Devi as she navigates high school and her new romantic relationships (will she choose Ben or Paxton?!).
Never Have I Ever season two premieres on Netflix this July. Stay tuned as an official release date is announced, and take a first look at the new season above.
