Here's When 'Never Have I Ever' Season 2 Hits Netflix

“Same crew. New girl. Still virgins.”

UPDATE (June 10, 2021): Devi Viswakumar, the spunky protagonist of sitcom series Never Have I Ever, is returning to your screens next month. Netflix just revealed that season two of the beloved show will hit the streaming platform on July 15.

Netflix will also host a live trailer premiere for the second season, featuring appearances by select cast members as well as show creator Mindy Kaling. Set to take place on YouTube, the event will allow fans to join in on virtual games and a Q&A session before a sneak preview of the show is debuted. Summing up what viewers can expect from the fresh season, the show’s Instagram posted a brief teaser along with the caption: “Same crew. New girl. Still virgins. S2 trailer in one week!”

Never Have I Ever season two releases on Netflix on July 15. Head to Netflix’s official YouTube channel on June 17 at 8 p.m. PST to tune into the trailer premiere.

ORIGINAL STORY (April 14, 2021): Netflix has released a series of first look images giving fans a preview of Never Have I Ever season two, which officially resumed production last November. The streaming platform has also announced an unexpected guest star to join the coming-of-age series: Common.

The rapper will play Dr. Chris Jackson, a ‘”suave and debonair” dermatologist who works in the same building as Nalini, Devi’s mother. “His high-end practice and celebrity clients are impressive to everyone — except Nalini,” a press release from Netflix reads. (We predict a budding love-hate romance between the two.) Of course, the second season will also follow Devi as she navigates high school and her new romantic relationships (will she choose Ben or Paxton?!).

Never Have I Ever season two premieres on Netflix this July. Stay tuned as an official release date is announced, and take a first look at the new season above.
