KHAITE Plays With Sultry Aesthetics in Its Resort 2022 Collection

A nuanced neutral palette pushed to elegant extremes.

KHAITE has unveiled its Resort 2022 collection, showcasing a selection of rich textured layers, fluid proportions and nuanced neutral tones in an exploration of identity and desire.

With functionality and design in mind, the collection’s graphic color palette is warmed by burnished neutrals, capturing its timeless and subversive spirit alongside its juxtaposed silhouettes. Clothing staples like dresses, jackets, shirts, bottoms, skirts and T-shirts, as well as accessories and footwear, are dressed in a mixture of minimal hues, bold stripe motifs and studded embellishments. The label’s signature fabrics also feature, such as classic cotton twill, crepe-backed satin, double silk georgette and luscious cashmere, playfully contrasted with materials like micro faille, halo-striped silk charmeuse, fur-like shearling accentuated by leather insets.

“Fashion is often imbued with transformative power, but what excites me most is its ability to make you feel like yourself. KHAITE resonates with women for that reason,” said Creative Director Catherine Holstein. “This season, we looked back to move forward. The collection references the long, lean lines and the menacing quality that defined New York at the turn of the millennium while imagining a post-pandemic lightness – a new sense of liberation, independence, and even decadence.”

Take a look at the collection in the gallery above. The KHAITE Resort 22 collection will be available for pre-order exclusively on the label’s webstore.
