Peter Do has announced that he will finally be joining the New York Fashion Week schedule for the Spring/Summer 2022 season. In a conversation with Voguethe designer and his 14-person team have been given a “prime spot” on September 8 at 5 p.m. EST.

As some parts of the world slowly go back to normal, Do plans to stir away from the digital route we’ve grown accustomed to this past year and focus on a “more immersive” experience. “The focus will return to the show experience and garment artistry, and less about the surrounding spectacle of fashion week,” Do shared how he thinks fashion shows will look like post-COVID. “Our show will be a hybrid of digital and IRL, blurring the line between what is real and what is not,” the designer explained. “There is a duality in the nature of all our processes and we are always pushing the boundaries of the liminal space that exists between the digital world and real life.”

Stay tuned while we wait for more information about Do’s SS22 collection. Head over to Vogue to read the full interview.
