Palace Wraps up 2022 With Vans x GORE-TEX Half Cab Collaboration

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the skate silhouette.

Palace is finishing off the year strong, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Half Cab shoe in a collaboration with Vans.

Marking the collaborators’ fourth team-up, the drop features three colorways of the Half Cab silhouette, which made its debut in 1992. Arriving in black, navy and beige iterations, the kicks are equipped with GORE-TEX on the upper, making them ready for the rain and snow.

The upper is contrasted with white topstitching details throughout, with Half Cab branding appearing alongside Palace’s logo on a tag stitched onto the laterals. The same tag is applied to the tongue while the streetwear brand is further found on the heel and Vans’ signature red label. The design is rounded out with tonal GORE-TEX branding at the heel.

Celebrating the launch, Palace has revealed a video campaign featuring skaters Rory Milanes and Danny Brady, who present the Half Cab.

Take a closer look at the sneakers down below. The Palace x GORE-TEX x Vans Half Cab will launch on December 30 in the U.K., EU and U.S., while Japan and China will see a later release on December 31 at 11 a.m. local time.
