These Are the Best-Selling Sneakers of 2022
2022 was undoubtedly the year of the Panda, the Nike Dunk Panda, that is.
Sneakers have once again had a pretty big year, but in and amongst all the incredible releases and collaborations, a few core silhouettes have reigned supreme. As 2022 comes to a close, we look back on some of the year’s most sought after sneakers, from the highest-selling to the most collectible and every shoe in between.
Unsurprisingly, there’s one sneaker that stands a cut above the rest, and that is of course the Nike Dunk Low Panda. The silhouette has been named one of the hottest selling sneakers of the year, according to data from eBay, followed closely by the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent Bred, adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga Reflective, adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Bone and the Air Jordan 11 Retro Cool Grey.
Next up, are the five sneaker silhouettes which saw the biggest sales growth this year, starting with the New Balance 990 V1, which grew over 200%, followed by the New Balance 2002R, Adidas Forum Low, and two more New Balance silhouettes: the 550 and 990 V2.
Then come the five most sought-after collectibles, each of which had their debut in 2022. First up is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent Bred, followed by Nike’s Dunk Low Jackie Robinson, the New Balance 550 White Grey, Nike Dunk Low Racer Blue and the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4.
Finally, data revealed the five most-searched brands from 2022, which includes Nike, adidas, Air Jordan, New Balance and Vans.
