Heaven by Marc Jacobs' Latest Drop Is a Collab With Wong Kar-Wai

Highlighting the Hong Kong filmmaker’s most iconic movies.

Heaven by Marc Jacobs, the line helmed by Ava Nirui, has launched its latest collection of ready-to-wear garments and accessories. This isn’t your usual drop, however, as it’s a collaboration with the iconic Hong Kong film director Wong Kar-Wai.

Comprised of dresses, tops, skirts and jewelry, the collection pays homage to some of Wong’s most iconic titles, such as Chungking Express, Fallen Angels and Happy Together. A tee, skirt and dress are covered in sequins illustrating the neon-lit streets of Hong Kong, while the text “love you for 10,000 years” is seen on a sweater vest and zip-up hoodie.

Elsewhere, “Fallen Angels” is printed onto a tee and a knit sweater while scenes from Wong’s films are patchworked together into a print on a mesh tee. The collection is complete with a chain necklace and body chain spelling out “HAPPY TOGETHER” and “FALLEN ANGELS.”
