Suicoke Travels to Italy for Its SS22 Collection
The Japanese brand’s latest line celebrates classical architecture.
Cult-favorite brand Suicoke transports us to an Italian resort for its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, looking to 20th century architecture as its muse. Venturing to Lake Como for a highly romantic backdrop to the melange of 90’s-inspired garments, the functionality of the historic buildings emphasizes the latest drop’s crisp silhouettes and elegant lines.
Conceived by stylist and fashion designer Elena Mottola, the Japanese fashion label’s SS22 collection is an exciting array of playful textures and highly saturated colors set to delight the senses and propel your wardrobe to the carefree days of summer. Cobalt blue crochet slips sit alongside 70’s-esque paisley prints, while body-hugging fuschia and orange striped midi dresses are paired with chunky platform sandals. Elsewhere, midriff-baring white tops and matching sets, complete with long gloves scream main character energy.
The newest line also features a more wearable and softer iteration of Suicoke’s experimental FiveFingers shoe, remodeling the avant-garde footwear in a sock-like version.
