Balenciaga Drops $7,290 USD Runner-Shaped Sculpture

Limited to 20 units only.

Balenciaga has unveiled its latest Object — a sculpture arriving in the form of its Runner sneaker.

Limited to 20 units only, the piece celebrates the footwear silhouette that first made its debut in 2021. The life-sized glazed ceramic item is modeled, carved and painted by hand to replicate the look of the shoe with a worn effect. Just like the original shoe, the sculpture appears to feature a mesh base, along with technical overlays. “Runner” branding is seen on the midsoles, while Balenciaga’s logo is placed on the tongue.

Take a closer look above. Priced at $7,290 USD, the Runner Sculpture is available at Balenciaga’s locations in Beijing, Beverly Hills, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Monaco, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo, in addition to the brand’s online store.
