Miu Miu Revives Its Beloved Menswear Line for FW22
Miuccia Prada presents micro-mini shorts — a continuation of her now-iconic Miu Miu sets.
While Miu Miu proved that its micro-mini skirts aren’t going anywhere, the designer also got the fashion crowd excited by bringing back its beloved menswear line — discontinued in 2008 — at its Fall/Winter 2022 show.
Styled by Lotta Volkova, six male models walked down the runway with guests sitting on beach chairs at the venue. Looks comprised knitted tees with contrasting blue and red detailing at the hems, along with matching Miu Miu-branded shorts. Elsewhere, argyle sweaters were styled with shearling jackets, as well as leather trousers with double-stacked belt detailing. A continuation of the women’s micro-mini skirts, the menswear range featured ultra-short shorts. The garments were accessorized with the Matelassé bag and footwear including penny loafers and boots.
Miu Miu has yet to confirm whether this will be the official revival of its menswear line, but fashion fans are already excited to get their hands on the pieces. Peep the styles above and see Miu Miu’s FW22 collection in full here.
