New Balance Has a 550 Collab With COMME des GARÇONS Homme on the Way
A monochromatic pair.
Building on the success of its 550 silhouette, New Balance is joining forces with Junya Watanabe‘s COMME des GARÇONS Homme to rework the popular sneaker.
This time around, the duo has splashed the kicks in black, true to CdG’s aesthetic. The silhouette arrives with an all-black upper with contrasting hits of white on the “N” and “550” branding on the sides, as well as overlays at the collar. New Balance’s logo appears on the tongue tag, while “CdGH new balance” text appears on the rear of the shoe. The design is complete with a white midsole.
Take a first look at the co-designed pair above. New Balance has yet to announce an official release date, but sneaker insiders are expecting the CdGH x NB 550 to arrive sometime in October 2022 at retailers such as Dover Street Market.
