Peter Do Announces Surprise Collab With SM Entertainment

The label will be unveiling its partnership with the K-pop giant at NYFW.

Peter Do has an unexpected collaboration with K-pop giant SM Entertainment on the way.

The label took to Instagram to announce and tease the forthcoming partnership in a short video clip. “Peter Do x SM Town… 8 days til the show,” the caption reads, along with a black-and-white image of white boxes branded with hearts and the New York label’s branding.

While not much is known as of writing, the designer is expected to reveal the collaboration at his show at New York Fashion Week, which marks the brand’s third runway presentation since Spring/Summer 2022. Judging from the shape of the boxes, the collaboration could be a part of the show’s invite, or could be K-pop-themed merch. With this partnership, we can also anticipate a few Korean stars potentially attending the upcoming presentation (Peter Do has previously dressed Johnny Suh — a member of NCT — for the Met Gala).

Aside from this surprise collaboration, Peter Do will also be debuting menswear for the first time for the SS23 season.
