adidas Originals Unveils Sparkling New Stan Smith x Blue Version Capsule

Merging sequins with stripes.

adidas Originals just released its new Spring/Summer 2023 capsule collection, comprising the ever-iconic Stan Smith silhouette alongside club-inspired apparel.

With footwear at the heart of the offering, adidas offers an updated take on its original Stan Smith Milencon court sneaker, complete with a Trefoil heel badge. Elsewhere, the collection sees the Stan Smith Relasted silhouette undergo a pared-back transformation, arriving in a clean leather upper with natural rubber midsole.

Clothing takes cues from the ’70s nightclub scene, adding a touch of glamor to classic silhouettes like track tops, shorts and bodysuits. Tops and jackets are complete with sequinned Three Stripes, arriving in a range of bright blue, red and black hues. Celebrating the sparkling collection is a bold campaign lensed by Anton Gottlob which sees adidas Originals make its mark on a retro-inspired hotel scene, dripping in history and heritage.

Take a look at the new campaign above, ahead of the collection’s official release via the adidas website on January 13.
