British Fashion Council Announces City-Wide Celebration for London Fashion Week

Featuring over 450 free events open to the public.

Ahead of London Fashion Week, which kicks off on February 17, British Fashion Council has announced a program of events for its annual City-Wide Celebration. Taking place from February 17 to 21, the calendar features over 450 free events and activations from brands, restaurants and institutions, each running alongside this season’s fashion week celebrations.

Located across London‘s iconic shopping destinations, from Covent Garden to Regent Street, the schedule sees the likes of Fiorucci and Anya Hindmarch hosting creative workshops, panel discussions, collection previews, styling sessions and designer Q&As. Elsewhere, the celebration sees BFC NEWGEN recipient, LABRUM, hosting an immersive retail space, alongside Hindmarch who will open the “World’s Smallest Department Store” alongside exhibitions and talks at Jigsaw.

Sustainability remains a core focus of the fashion week schedule this season and as a result, features as a theme throughout the city-wide celebration. Anciela is set to host an interactive fashion installation, made with textile waste, with an edit of upcycled and hand-made pieces available for purchase at Rosamund Muir and Studio Noirgaze. What’s more, numerous restaurants and cafes across London will feature a bespoke LFW menu, including Pastaio, STK and Poke House.
